Capt | M C Albright | Worcester Yeomanry | Possibly, Martin Chicheley Albright served in the Queens Own Worcestershire Hussars (Worcester Yeomanry). He was the son of George Albright and his wife of Ledbury, George being a retired Manuracturing Chemist, living at Hatfield House, Donnington.He was also the husband of Barbara of Tewkesbury. He died of wounds on 8 November 1917 aged 31 and rests in Gaza War Cemetery. Note : His rank on the CWGC is given as Major |
Sec Lieut | A H Dunlop | Ayrshire Yeomanry | A H Dunlop served in the Royal Scots Fusiliers, 12th Ayr and Lanark Yeomanry. He was the son of Mr W H and Mrs I M Dunlop of Doonside, Ayr. He was KIA on 6 November 1917 and rests in Beersheba War Cemetery. |
Capt | P C MacRae MA, MB, CHB, | 116th Bcde RFA | Patrick Cameron MacRae according to the CWGC served in the RAMC. He died on 5 March 1917 and rests in Kingussie Parich Churchyard. |
Sec Lieut | W G R McLennan | 15th Border Regt | William Ross McLennan, was the son of Alexander and May McLennan of Newtonmore. He died on 21 March 1918 aged 28 and is remembered on the Pozieres Memorial |
Sergt | J S Craib | 15th Royal Scots | James Shand Craib was the son of William and Mary Craib of Lochend Cottage, Dalwhinnie. He served as no. 51409 formerly being 9030 in the Royalk Scots Fusiliers. James was KI ON 13 April 1918 aged 22 and he is remembered on panel 1 of the Pleogsteert Memorial |
L Cpl | D Campbell | 1st Camerons | Donald Campbell was the son of John and Hannah of Farrowview, Dalwhinnie. He served as 9656 in the Cameron Highlanders and died on 29th November 1914 aged 19 and he rests in Neiderzwehren Cemetery, Kassel, Hessen in Germany along with over 1792 identified casualties - also many were moved to this cemetery from other cemeteries including prisoner of war cemeteries. |
