L Cpl John Yellowlees   John was the son of Mr & Mrs David Yellowlees of Nether Braco, Perthshire. He served as Corporal S/7677 in the Black Watch and died on 16 March 1916 aged 23. He rests in Rifle House Cemetery, Belgium along with over 200 other identified casualties.

  James Salmond   James was the son of James Salmond of Deanston, Downe, Perthshire and served as Pte 5472 in the Black Watch. He died on 20 September 1918 aged 23 and rests in Marteville Communal Cemetery, Attilly.

Pte Alexander Scorbie   Alexander was the brother of William and served as Pte 33463 in the HLI. he died on 18 November 1916 aged 20 and rests in Frankfurt Trench British Cemetery, Beaumont-Hamel
Capt Gordon S Ness R S F Gordon Stuart Ness was the son of Mr & Mrs Patrick Ness of Braco Castle and the husband of Gladys. He served as a Lieutenant in the Royal Scots Fusiliers and died on 10 November 1914. He is remembered on the Memin Gate Memorial
Pte Peter Ferguson            M.M. & Bar R S F Peter was the son of Robert and Jane Ferguson of Church St, Braco and served in the RSF as Pte 53617. He died on 27 September 1918 aged 22 and rests in Hermies Hill British Cemetery
