only son of C and S Boughton
of Netherlands, Tillington
He served with the 54th Company
Middlesex Imperial Yeomanry in
South Africa, from March 1900
to April 1901, and was drowned
whilst attempting to save a comrade
at Clocolan, April 2 1901
