F Coultas Frederick Charles Coultas was the son of John and Susan Coultas. John was born in Bramham in 1888. By 1901 his mother was a widow with 2 children and employed as a launderess. Fred enlisted in Manchester, where he joined the RFA no 140653. He was later in the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry and became L/Cpl 28164. Fred was KIA on 23 August 1917 and is remembered on the Tyne Cot Memorial, France
