| G W Goodwin | George William Goodwin was born in 1895, the son of James Goodwin a cordwainer and his wife Ann. In the 1901 census George was one of 2 children living with his parents in Taddington. George enlisted into the Sherwood Foresters in Bakewell and became Pte 43561, later being transferred to the Royal Irish Rifles as Rifleman 43071. George was KIA on 6 August 1917 aged 22 and is remembered in Ypres on the Menin Gate Memorial. |
| C Mycock | Charles was the son of William and Ellen of Taddington, Buxton. Charles enlisted in Bakewell, joining the Royal Army Veterinary Corps as Pte 19683. He died on 21 January 1917 aged 35 - according to the CWGC he rests in Bois Guillaume Communal Cemetery while another source has him dying 'at home' meaning in the UK. |
| G Mycock | George Mycock was the son of Mrs A E Mycock of Hades House, Taddington. He served in the Sherwood Foresters as Pte 241693, enlisting i Tideswell. George was KIA on 14 October 1918 and rests in Dadizeele New British Cemetery |
| J Mycock | Possibly, John Thomas Mycock who served as Pte 69079 in the Sherwood Foresters and died on 21 March 1918 aged 34. He is remembered on the Arras Memorial |
