Lc Cpl C N Stanyon | 1/4 Lincs died Oct 13th 1915 | Charles Neal Stanyon served as L/Cpl 2698. He died on 13 October 1915 aged 26. He was the son of Mr & Mrs T Stanyon of Leasingham Moor, Sleaford and he is remembered on the Loos Memorial |

Lt Col C M Waterlow | W Com RNAS died July 20th 1917 | Clive Maitland Waterlow was the son of David and Edith Waterlow. In the census of 1891 the family are living at The Thorns, Ruislip where David works as a printer and stationer. The census of 1901 tells that Clive is a student of Rugby School. Clive served died ated 33 and is remembered in Leasingham village Churchyard along with 1 other casualty of war. Clive married Winifred Joan, who later re-married to become Waller |

Spr S Simpson | Canadian Rly Troops died Oct 20th 1918 | Stephen Simpson was the son of Stephen and Hannah Simpson. Stephen snr served the village as a wheelwright. Stephen jnr enlisted in Canada while residing at 101 Oswege St, Victoria, BC. He stated his birth date as Nov 7ty 1887 in Leasingham, Lincolnshire, England. His religion was Methodist. His occupation, wheelwright and his next of kin was Annie, his sister of Roxholm Lodge Farm. His height is given as 5' ½" with an expanded chest measurement of 34" with an expansion range of 4". His complection was fair, his eyes blue and hair brown. He served as no. 2139498. Stephen died aged 31 and is remembered in Thurrock (West Thurrock) Cemetery |
