Capt | Esme Fairfax Chinnery | Coldstream Guards & RFC | Esme, born on 28 March 1886, was the son of Walter Moresby Chinner, DL, JP and Alice emily. He was born in Hatchford Park. His brother Harry Brodrick Chinnery, fought in the KRRC and can be found on the Eton KRRC Memorial. Esme also attended Eton College. Both brothers played cricket for Eton and appear on the Lords Cricket Ground MCC WW1 Memorial. Esme was also attached to the RFC and was granted his pilots license on 30 April 1912. He was accidentally killed on January 18 1915 while flying as a passenger. He rests in the family plot in St Matthews Churchyard, Hatchford |
Pte | Jack Edward Charman | Royal Sussex Regt | Jack was the son of William and Ellen who after the war were living at 2 Cherry Tree Cottages, Friday St, Warnham. Jack served as Pte., TP/1738 and died on 21 August 1915 aged 25. He is remembered on the Helles Memorial. |

Pte | Cadwaladr J Ottley | Royal West Surrey Regt | Cadwaladr James Ottley was born in Loose Green, Warnham, the son of Charles Edward and Margaret of Percy Road, Horsham. He served in the Royal West Surrey Regt., as Pte 2191 and died on 21 January 1916 aged 20. He rests in Norfolk Cemetery, Becordel-Belcourt |

Pte | Thomas James Higgins | Royal Scots | Thomas James was the son of John and Margaret of Rowhook Broadbridge Heath. He served as Pte 202296 and died on 2 august 1918 aged 18 and he rests in Senlis French National Cemetery along with over 130 other casualties. |
